Afternoon! Glad everyone seems to have seen the sun today and enjoyed family time and walkies :)

I have felt rushed this afternoon following a long hairdressers appointment! My appointment was at 9 and usually it takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours because my hair is very long. As it is platnium blond at the mo, the stylist usually applies the bleach then I wait 30 mins before it gets washed three times....then it gets part blow dried before the toner is applied which stays on for 25 minutes followed by another two washes and a conditioning treatment before I finally get it blow dried and straightened!

Anyway my appointment lasted 4 1/2 hours today after arriving 8.40am and not getting out until 13.30 today!!!! It was simply because my stylist had just got out of hospital on Monday and wasn't feeling too well so she had a couple of new trainee students in to help her and OMG the student who was doing my hair was lovely but sooooooo slow! And not only did she soak my back whilst washing my hair, she also managed to splash shampoo in my eye before taking 1 1/2 hours to blow dry and straighten my hair!!! In the end I felt like just saying to her 'look can I just do it myself' because usually it takes me 15 mins to quickly blow dry it followed by another 10 minutes using my GHDs! But I held back and let her do it as I knew she was trying hard to please both my stylist and me! It does look lovely mind you so I gave her a tip at the end and didn't let on about my wet back and shampood eye! I just wanted to get out and I hate complaining! I was just stressed by the time I left as I was late picking up the kids and my two girls were going to a party so my mum had to take them back to my home, help them to get changed and then drop them off! What a morning - but at least my girls got to their party and I am pleased with my hair :) Sigh! I need a glass of rose this evening to de-stress!

Thanks Sheils! My bum was sore by the end of it and I am restless anyway - always up and down like a yoyo throughout the day!
