Good Morning,

Should be another peaceful day here as DS & DD both working although one of DDs friends coming for sleepover tonight.
Have a stack of ironing to do and had better check what food I need to buy to keep kids going while we are away. Doesn't matter what I buy we usually have to eat it before it goes out of date when we come back.

we've got one of those big air balloons just above our flats & it's coloured in a gorgeous rainbow design,
looks awesome watching it :eek:
I wouldn't dare go up in one :eek:

I would be scared of going up in balloon too but have entered comps sometimes as DH would love too try it. Have usually entered in his name, hoping DD would go with him and I wouldn't need to. They are the only family who love heights! Was passing Bristol once and there must have been some sort of balloon festival on. It was lovely to see the multi coloured balloons all over the sky.

Great you are having such good weather Bella. Enjoy yourselves.

shiels even my son who I love to bits didnt sneak anyone in . he came home one night completely drunk couldnt get key in the door so I left him to sleep in the garden It was summer and warm outside .

Years ago DH got up to find DS1 asleep curled up in our porch as he had forgotten his key. He just stepped over him to go to work!

Hee hee had to giggle when I saw your post re a girl leaving your DS's room Sheils! WOW, I wish I was young again! Mind you, my parents were pretty strict when I was younger, and even when me and my ex used to stay over at my parents with our new born son (yes, our new born son), they still weren't so keen on us sharing a bed under their roof!

Such a lovely day here though my parents rang earlier from Arran and said it is wet and dull over there!

By the way, I changed my profile pic as I have gone back to blonde for the summer! I have been pink for the past five months and loved it but it is high maintenance because the pink fades so quickly, and even more so in the sun! I told my kids I am a sophisticated blonde and not a dumb blonde though, but my eldest son just laughed and said 'Mam, don't you mean a 'so-!!!!!!-i-cated' blonde because you love your wine!' What a cheek! I had to remind him why I drink so much wine - I collect corks for a hobby!
