Good morning! Looks like it has been raining through the night as the paths are wet but is is dry now - just cloudy and dull! Leaes are changing though so it is defo beginning to feel a lot like Autumn!

Just back from my 8am appointment at the dentist. The filling he replaced a few weeks ago caused a crack on the tooth to break of a part of it. He wasn't sure if he could sort it properly when he saw it but was pleased with himself after he did it. Reckons he did a lovely job! It is the very back tooth right at top so not sure why it needs to look good but hopefully sorted out now and he didn't charge for it.
Glad it didn't happen in Menorca.
Lovely and sunny here again.

Glad you dentist appointment went ok Sheils!

Just been hanging the washing out and it is really mild out there! I hear we are in for an Indian Summer next week!

I struggled to get my kids out of bed this morning at 9am so from tomorrow I have told them I am going to be getting them up much earlier so they will be ready for school starting again next week!



Good luck for today - I am not going out as I need to take school trousers up and attach name labels onto new school uniforms! Oh how I hate that job! So comping, sewing, coffee, comping, sewing, coffee for me today!

It's been raining overnight but mild now so got another load of washing out. It will probably be red hot next week when kids back at school, it's usually the case!
I struggle to get mine up on a morning now too Bella! I put them in bed earlier last night then while I was in bed I heard son sneak down for snacks! I was too tired to go and confiscate them! Good luck with your sewing I used to attach name labels on DD's but her good school cardi's would still go missing even with her name in! Now I just buy the cheap ones for junior school and write names in.

Glad your son enjoyed his bday Vickimichelle and good luck with winning GHD's I'm debating if I can still use mine, the hamsters bit through some of wire and it's the gold colour bits that are sticking out. I might put some electricians tape round it and ask hubby to try it!

Jaspers behaving himself now fire**fly He must have thought...well if the hamster can be naughty...so can I! I'm gonna take him to woods or park later for a good run (that's him run, not me! )

Have you got the GK's today Sylvia? I get they are getting worried about going back to school too like mine are! There's only youngest looking forward to it because it's her bday the week after!

Nothing much planned today. DH is in bed after nightshift so I will have to try and be quiet....so no hoovering for me today I'm afraid :j

Sorry to laugh Wingo, hope you managed to sort out your GHD's. I notice you are going to tape them up and get HUBY to try them out We often come back and find out lounge bin over the floor if we forget to move it before we go out.

Had arranged to meet DD1 + her DH + GK's for breakfast at 10.30 so we went just before 10 so we could eat in piece and read the papers before they arrived. I needn't have worried they didn't arrive until 11.30 so they had lunch instead. They have only just left ours so well behind now.
