Hi everyone,
Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday. We travelled in rain all the way here and as soon as we got out of the car it stopped! We checked into hotel and then came back out and sun was shining - jammy or what?
Had a lovely walk along canal and into Burnley where we had an enormous Indian buffet meal for £8.95 each. It was a bring your own booze so had to run into M&S to get a bottle. Really full now.
Bucketed down while we were eating but got back dry although started again now. Must give the Indian a rave review.

Thanks FF but that is us in for the night now. Don't think rain is going to stop again . Might manage a few comps as DH reading the paper and we have free WIFI

hiya sheils, I remember once we went to London for a few days
& it threw it down all the time we were there :eek:
we didn't go out the hotel all the time we were there
& i sat in the bar every evening with me logging into mse & posting & entering comps like I was at home :rotfl:
I loved it but DH wasn't very pleased :rotfl::eek:
might as well be doing the comps if it's yucky out
& you've free wifi I think :j

Nasty day here, rain wind etc.

Been to visit DH's Son in hospital, its not the one with the bad heels Wingo the one with the other problems, he was not in a good way today but was glad to see us. My DS is now getting about a bit in Moon boot things and crutches so it doing much better but no sign of him getting back to work yet.

So glad you managed to get a nice walk along the canal before the rain set in Sheils. Glad you have free internet where you are staying and good luck with the comp ff posted.

Hope you roof is holding up Wingo and that you manage to get it fixed soon.

Going to try and press on with some comps tonight. We need to be giving it a big push now to get some (dare I say) C*****mas pressies together.

Oh ff thats freightening, will have to get a shifty on and catch up soon. I have got so far behind with everything going on and family during the School holidays its a struggle to keep up. Here at DD2's until Friday then DH's DD1 coming with the children to us next week for a few days.
