We had tagliatelle with smoked salmon in a creamy paprika sauce with garlic bread. One of my specialities!
Have never tried the Mccain jacket pots. Must admit I thought they would be rubbish. Maybe try them now.
Shame about the paddling pool wingo.
Wouldn't mind a drink now too. Must give DH a hint about feeling thirsty. :D

sheils that sound right up my street could you put up recipe for creamy paprika sauce on here please. The McCain spuds are good but they are small they are half a spud not the whole one you need to have two and I put extra cheese on mine. Have just bought a vodaphone dongle from Argos on line sale with 1G of usage on it for when I am out and about with my lappy It was reduced to £11.99 bargain I thought as there is not always free wifi everywhere. will use up 1G at home as it only lasts 30 days then when I am away can top it up when needed.

also love the mccain's mini jacket ones :D
    & agree with you bella,
they taste just like home made & are so much quicker &
easier than using big spuds :j
    enjoy your rose tchintchin.gif

    oooooh yes rose :D
you have to have a splash of
    gin in the tonic champagne-2010.gif

sheils, your dinner sounds gorgeous

aww shame about the paddling pool wingo,
hope you get a good one tomorrow :j

I used to have a dongle too rose but I find I can usually find hot spots in towns now. Greggs, McDonalds and o2 seem to have loads as well as the indoor centres.
I'm afraid I'm not a recipe person but I fry some onion and garlic in butter sprinkle on paprika (usually smoked paprika as DS2 said better) add chopped smoked salmon, mixed herbs/parsley if wanted and add milk and cream. I just add things till it is to my taste. Can't go far wrong if you add things gradually to see how you like it. Goes down a treat with everyone here.

I tend to adapt things as well shiels when it gets to the way I like it then it is done. Thanks for the basics though. When I take away the cost of the 1 gig that is on there then it has only cost me £1.99 for dongle vodaphone are asking a lot more so dont mind the original cost and if I am stuck and have to pay charges elsewhere then I think I am going to be saving rather than paying over inflated charges in hotels and holiday parks etc. Do not mind paiyng a couple of pounds for what I need for a day . Some of the charges for 24 hours are ridiculous

Hotels are getting better now rose thank goodness. I remember Holiday Inn wanted £20 for internet access just a few years ago. Think I paid £25 for my Vodafone dongle which had £15 on it. Now it is free on Holiday Inn to Reward customers and Premier Inn gives you 30 mins free and £3 for 24hrs . Jurys Inn is free now too and Best Western Hotels. Holiday Parks can be a problem though.

    Good Morning,

Was expecting rain today but I think the forecast has changed and it isn't coming in until tonight. Sounds like storm going to hit south mainly but give rest of us wind, rain and high tides.
Just waiting to phone Drs at 8am as I am pretty sure I am getting conjunctivitis and as I am going away on Sun I want to get it sorted quickly. Don't know if I will need an appointment or not. There is always something!
Good Luck today anyway - always optimistic about Fridays

    morning sheils
love the pic :D was watching the squirrels earlier
    busy burying all the nuts,
I've noticed if it's a hot start to the day they don't seem
to be rushing about so much but when it's a bit nippy &
drizzly it's as if they have to bury the food as quick
as they can, it's as if they seem to know what the weather's
    going to be like !

hope you get through to docs/see the nurse for
    an appointment,
ours are terrible for getting through!
