B & Q are t****rs !

Options
A few months ago my mother in law ordered a B&Q kitchen and bathroom on a buy now pay later offer.

Fast forward to four weeks ago and the subsequent death of my mother in law. We duly notified B&Q and the credit company and sent off the relevent documentation to both parties.

No problems with the credit company, however B&Q are a different ball game all together. Twice in recent weeks they have rung to try and arrange a delivery date and twice we have explained to them that the order has been cancelled, the last time we spoke to the store we ordered it through directly and they assured us that the order was cancelled.

Low and behold yesterday morning another phone call from the said muppets, we will be delivering your order this Friday !!!! !!!!!! !

So on that proviso I told the Mrs not to ring them back, let them turn up and not sign the delivery, let the pillocks waste their money and time trying to deliver to order.

Absolutely furious with the bloody idiots :mad:

are you contacting head office or the store? Either way contact the other one to those you are contacting.

I'm not sure what the actual legal stand point is but I would expect if the contract is signed your MIL's estate would be liable but it would be a very harsh company to try and enforce this considering its not actually been installed or delivered (nevermind the attempts)
