Facebook Messenger APP and Dropbox

I currently use Facebook Messenger on my PC, S3 and Galaxy Tab (GT)

On the S3 and GT when I want to attach a photo on Messenger from Dropbox I no longer have the option to do so

The icon takes me to my recent photos - there used to be a choice of which Dropbox was one

This seems to have changed since the recent updates

Any suggestions on how I can do this from within the Messenger App?

I think this is a result of a recent upgrade to the Messenger App (The Facebook App is the same).

Previously, when selecting a photo to upload, both Apps used to pass control to an external App (e.g. Album), now they seem to use their own internal image picker.

It's quite a pain as their internal image picker presents all images on the device as one huge block and you have to sort through them, the external App presents them as separate folders making it much easier to find the image you want.

I suspect their internal system doesn't know about dropbox and that's what's causing your problem.

So ... haven't got a solution myself but I'm interested in hearing if anyone out there has a way around this.
