Well, I went for the interview, and I must have been soooooo impressive
, that they offered me the job there and then!!
I'm not sure what my hours will be yet, but I've got my two day induction on Thursday and Friday next week.
Emz xx
How fabulous are you? first job interview. Wicked!

You are simply brilliant, that is why they offered you the job.

Congratulations, Emz:A:A:A
We all knew you could do it. Try not to overdo the money-making projects in the meantime, you don't want to go in there tired out:eek:
You'll probably have less opportunities to keep us posted once you start but please don't forget about us0 -
Thanks everyone :A
I can't remember my hours exactly, but it's all weekend (7 hours a day if I recall) and 2 evenings a week (3 hours each). They change around on a fortnightly basis and one of the Saturdays I'll be doing 2pm-9pm. Not sure about the pay yet (but I think it's over £7 an hour), which means I should be earning around £500 a month.
So I've joined the £10 a day challenge for next month, but will be aiming for £20 a day to top my wages up. I'll have all through the week to achieve that. If I get offered extra hours at M&S, I'll take them up to a certain point. I don't want to end up working full-time though.
Anyway, better run as we're off to see The Hundred-Foot Journey tonight with free tickets.

The movie was good last night. Dragged a bit, but still quite good.
However, we got home and I found a HUGE spider just sat in the hallway. I screamed, bolted to the safety of the sofa and begged my OH to suck it up the hoover. Didn't get much sleep last night as a result. I mean, this thing was massive - like the size of someone's hand. I have no idea where they are coming from _pale_
OH thinks we need to keep the house cleaner, which he is probably right (not a complete pigsty, but could be tidier and cleaner). I'm going to try and start fly-lady from Monday, even if I can just get some of the things done. OH's parents are visiting a week Monday, so we will have to get the house tidier anyway.
Just made a payment of £185 towards the council tax too.
