    Finally got round to filling in my tax return and woo hoo - they owe me £100 - result!:j

    Also got round to setting up my BT account for paperless billing which'll save me a whole 50p a month (could have done this when my Mum told me at least a month ago but better late than never).

    Hi everyone - this weekend was a bit expensive, but in a DFW way! - was very lucky and got Live earth tickets in the lottery (paid for my ticket out of last weeks money). But it was a weekend in london seeing friends....

    Took out £40 and made a deal with myself I wouldn't spend more than that over the weekend, and succeeded! Feeling very proud, because I know that it's weekends doing fun things with friends that is my downfall, so to do it by budgeting, having had a brilliant time and the money side working out is great. :j

    It was a really nice treat, and makes me think I can really focus on the next few weeks

    Today's DFW things were:

    * Spent the day and BF's parents, they fed us, 'watered' us, we sunbathed in the garden, loaned me books - lots of freebies! And they are lovely people too - I never want to come home. A lovely day.

    * Before we went I did some washing/housework and did not go anywhere so I have had a NSD! :j

    * Did 2 x YouGov prize draw entry surveys.

    * QuidCo searches.

    * Going to make HM lunch for tomorrow.
    Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
    Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
    Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

    i've not bought the sunday papers - saving of £2.70 - i live fairly frugally anyway and this is the ONLY little treat I have but i noticed a few weeks ago - they both seem to have the same stuff in and....apart from the odd story there's nothing in them worth buying them for.
