Hiya
I'm travelling to Sicily in June and I'm trying to work out how much spending money for food we might need.
We are a couple my OH will usually drink local beer and I drink water or soft drinks with meals and we both drink water or soft drinks in the day.
How much are these things and how much could we expect to pay for a main meal (evenings) and small lunches?

thanks for the budget your trip link, i'd found the tripadvisor one but just found myself clicking links to other threads and no answers.
I was hoping to find something like this:

I have been to Sicily twice, once to Taormina and last September to Giardini Naxos. It really does depend where you go as Taormina is very expensive. For example, last year we went there one evening and paid 22 euros for two drinks (included some nuts etc) in Cafe Wunderbar which is the most famous bar/cafe there. Back in Giardini we paid 3 euros in a nice beachside restaurant for two drinks. Absolutely love the place though. If you go, make sure you go up Mount Etna and to Syracuse if you are on the east side of the island.0

We're going to Taormina, staying in a hotel halfway between the town and the beach.0

I go Sicily every year as the in laws and very very extended family are from up in the mountains so I've seen both sides of the expenses! Even got married there.
Get away from the tourist traps and you can be happily paying 50p for morettis and peronis.
We're doing a landing in Catania this year and doing a few days in Taormina and Syracuse before heading to Agrigento and then up to the in laws.
Prob won't take in Palermo this time as our flight home is from Catania. Love the madness of Palermo though - really teaches u driving habits u quickly need to forget when u return to UK0
