Where to put £50k?

I need a temporary home for £50k, probably only for a max of 6 months.
Which accounts would it be best put into? I've already got a 123 account which is full
Ideally I don't want to open a load of accounts as I'll be applying for a mortgage with the money soon (once I find a house). I just want to earn as much interest as possible on it
Any suggestions?

Realistically you are looking at easy access savings accounts and low interest, 1.4% if you're lucky0
