Reclaiming PPI for overdraft protection and loan

Hi,
My wife and I have a joint Barclays account and PPI payments have been taking out on the overdraft. I made a claim for a PPI refund and was told there was no policy in my name it turned out to be in my wife's name. The PPI was even older than we thought and was taken out in 1998 and is still being paid.My wife has not worked since 2000 when she had our daughter. So the PPI was pointless and not covering her we were not even asked if we wanted it.

During a phone call I made to the bank to find out about the policy it turned out I had PPI on a loan from them.I know I paid the loan up early but cannot remember the borrowed amount or the duration of the loan.I was not told there was PPI on the loan so it was mis-sold. I could not claim on the PPI anyway due to a serious preexisting health condition. Can I request details from the bank as I don't have any documents? this way I would have an idea how much refund is due if they make an offer.

I have now realised we had an additions account which we felt pressured into because we went overdrawn a couple of times without an agreed overdraft. The additions account had a free £250 overdraft facility. We never used the additions facilities including the overdraft but paid £15pcm for the privilege for a couple of years. Can this be claimed back?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Same procedure as complaining about mis sold PPI on a loan.

Phone the bank for the account details and then register a complaint for mis sold PPI -details on the Barclays website.
