Best cash back card (not Amex or Airmiles)

Hey,
I spend quite a lot of money (2013 = 16k) with a company that charges 3% extra to take Amex thus wiping out the cash back value.
I'm not into air miles or fancy convert to vouchers and get 4x the value if you shop at x,y,z places. I just want the best cash back card available that isn't Amex. What do you suggest pls?
I thought I'd be able to find a table on MSE that compared them all and I could just pick the next one in the rankings but I can't seem to find one?

At the moment there really aren't any other decent cash back cards other than Amex. All the Visa and MasterCards are at 0.5% cash back.0
