Hi have new computer and using MSN ..noticed an option under safety to add tracking protection to stop people tracking you when you surf the web ...are these a good idea? and if so which is the best one to use ?

Do not track is a gimmick IMHO, hardly any web sites take any notice of the request. It's like saying to a mugger, 'please don't rob me'0

Speeds up browsing disabling tracking....a lot of js does not execute and helps browser page loading.
Adblock Plus exntension has an option to disable tracking (less intrusive than another addon Do Not Track does similar).
Its worth not being tracked imho.....stops cookies being stored on your device for ads targeted at you specifically and also stops some search engines from tracking your internet searches.0 -
