Hi,
I applied for a Tesco balance transfer card this morning only to be turned down!!!! I have no idea why as I haven't missed a payment with other cards! the email they sent recommended that i wait 6 months.
i really don't know what to do now? the current credit card offer is due to expire any day now and i will have to pay interest
can anyone offer any advice
cheers

Option 1: Find out why they rejected you. Ask them, and also order your credit reports to check the information is correct.pixiedevil wrote: »can anyone offer any advice
Option 2: Apply somewhere else.
Unless you post up your full financial circumstances nobody here will be able to help further, ie whether you should go with option 1 or 2.0 -
...and when you review your credit files, please please don't quote what your "credit score" is as that will also not help anyone at all as credit scores don't exist0

This may well have a bearing on your application.0 -
yes, it may depend upon what other cards you have
i currently have a TescoBank Credit Card but i wouldnt worry too much about not being able to have one....hopefully you can obtain a card elsewhere that you can move your balance to.
what cards to do you have at the moment?
i use noddle.co.uk to check that all is in order on my credit file. perhaps worth doing that, rather than paying Experian, for example0
