Who should go in the wedding car?

Send mother of the bride in the car with the bridesmaids! That's the traditional way of doing it - they're then at the venue ready for the bride and father of the bride!
This is what my sister did - my mum went in the car with the three bridesmaids on the first run, then the driver came back to pick up sis and my dad. That way my mum was there to say hello to people beforehand and for when my sister arrived.
