Realistically no. You have exhausted your options.
Most MPPI complaints are turned down. You dont mention what your complaint reasons were so its hard to comment until you do.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
basically me and my wife were in fulltime employment and had adequate sickness cover to cut a long story short
when we took out the mortgage we were told in not so many word that if we didn't take out the insurance we might get turned down for the mortgage0 -

They are not suitable complaint reasons
1 - you need to be in full time employment to have PPI. So, a complaint on that basis is pointless as you are effectively complaining that you WERE eligible to have it.
2 - MPPI pays out in addition to employer benefits. Some types of loan and credit card PPI does not. Where it does not pay out in addition then employer benefits can be a valid reason. However, with MPPI it is not.
3 - The mortgage is a long term debt with lifestyle changing consequences if it goes unpaid. It is not a short term insignificant debt like a loan or credit card. It is considered more important to cover your mortgage.when we took out the mortgage we were told in not so many word that if we didn't take out the insurance we might get turned down for the mortgage
And what evidence do you have to support that allegation? Very few complaints succeed on that as a reason due to lack of evidence.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you feel so strongly take them to court, but you will most likely lose.
As already stated this is a mortgage PPI, not a poor single premium policy or rubbish credit card PPI. This is to protect your mortgage ie YOUR HOME!
Perhaps just accept that it wasnt mis-sold.0
