Is Marmaris north of 30N?

Looking to book a holiday to Turkey but unsure if insurance policy covers it. We have Europe including 'those countries bordering the Med Sea north of 30 degrees N'. Will we be covered?

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

sure, if it gives you even more peace of mind, googling Marmaris coordinates

    36.8500° N, 28.2667° E

since the numbers go up from the equator as you go north, you'll be fine. :)

Such a good deal from Thomson. Just £126 for a week.

Have a day out in both Icmeler (Wednesday market) and Turunc.
The frequent orange-stripe dolmus goes to Icmeler, and the less frequent white on goes to Turunc.
In the other direction go to Dalyan. Green-strip dolmus to the main bus station (otogar), and then ask for buses to Dalyan.
Public transport is v.cheap, clean and efficient.
Have you arranged your transfer yet?

Transfer is included with the £126 cost of the holiday. Looks like a long time on a bus though.

Thanks for that. It sowed an immediate seed. We've just had 5 weeks in Nepal, and need a break!

I had a look on the Thomson website, and booked 10 nights for me and the cook to Bodrum from 15 May to 25 May from LGW @ £158 each self catering. We've done Istanbul, Ankara, Cappadocia, Antalya, Icmeler, Fethiye, and Side, so Bodrum should make a change.

Cost includes flights, transfers and 15 KG (each). No brainer really.

I've already done the API online. And got our e-visas @ US$20 each, took a few minutes but painless, and should save a bit of time getting through Bodrum airport.

The coach transfer can be a bit of an endurance test, but no pain no gain.

I can taste the Efes already! Enjoy!!

One more child to get through school and all this travel freedom will be ours for the taking, can't wait!!!

Do you know where your accommodation is Pete? Bodrum runs into Gumbet these days, you'll be at both within an hour on a coach transfer.

Could be Club Pedalisa. I looked at this as well but the flights from Birmingham were horrible on the return leg.
