Hi trying to find some guidance on this but not getting anywhere.

I'm currently working full time and my partner is on maternity leave. If i was to leave my current job and she went back to full time work, Would be entitled to Hb/Ctb ?

We are married with 2 children.

That would depend on your household income. Put some figures into a benefit calculator for an idea of your entitlement.

Sorry i should have said yes we've done that and under the figures we put in yes we are entitled to some but my worry would be do we actually get it because i've left work off my own back?

For Hb you leaving work won't have a bearing on your award, your assessment would be classed on household income, it would only affect a claim for Jobseekers Allowance.

Remember to inform tax credits of the change and you may want to estimate this years income to possibly increase entitlement to tax credits.
