Help with Sweet Peas
I listened to you lot down south and went too early with my sweet peas
My frost free date is 1st June and I can't get them out until then. So they're about a foot tall, very spindly and weak looking, still in the toilet roll inners that I planted them in. What should I do with them now, as they're heirloom highly scented and I don't want to lose them!

Mar , I do believe you will have to cut them down to about 6 inches, then as they grow nip the top buds out so that they get more bushier , repot pot them in pots , well thats what id do , but some other posters will probaly have a different idea..........0

I've just re potted them into bigger pots with more compost, and I'll go and nip the tops off now, thanks Shegar xxx0

So long as your ground isn't still frozen or icy, then you can plant them out. Sweet peas although they do not look it, they are as tough as old boots.0
