Disposing clumping cat litter

Currently I use oko plus cat litter which is soooo much better for smells than the wood chip I used to use but it tracks terribly
I use this one as I live in a 2nd floor flat and can flush it away, trekking down 2 flights of stairs across the car park and into a dark bin she'd is just not going to happen, especially in the dark and cold!
So I wondered if the non flushable ones were any good at hiding smells if I didn't get rid straight away? Obviously they'd be binned but still inside and a bit open due to my flat layout.
Any thoughts?
I have three moggys with two trays ( no issues at all with just the two, I know more is recommended ) and scoop twice a day and when stinkers occur!

Double bagged (nappy bags could be the MSE way - I use them for doggy poo bags) and in a bin like the nappy bins you get might work? Some bicarb in the bin to help with any odours, I'm not sure I'd leave it any longer than a day or two though.0

I use Golden Grey and it's fantastic - no smells at all

ETA I recently had to move Archie's tray into my ensuite (long story!) and was worried that I would find it a bit smell but honestly never smell a thing!
I scoop the solids into a nappy sack, tie and then put into another bag - when that's full (usually every couple of days), I take it to the outside bin
No smells ever - even when it was really hot last summer!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Another one for Golden Grey here! I'm using the "white" one and it smells lovely.
It is brilliant for no smells and it lasts ages. I scoop every day into a scented nappy sack (doubled up) and pop it into the bin which is then taken down every 3/4 days.I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.

Absolutely Golden Grey - I too just moved to the white version.
And with 4 cats..I would know if it was tracking too much/getting smelly0 -
I think I'll be trying the golden grey then
if I can get the tracking under control that would be great, finding furry bed sheets is bad enough but when there's litter in there too, it's kind of gross!
I currently have to wash my sheets twice a week because I dread to think what they'd be like if I washed them less:eek:
I'll get some either once the oko has ran out or a good offer pops up, whichever comes first

Golden Grey (any version) never is on offer as far as I know - Rising, correct me if I am wrong? You are good with offers

You get 2 bags for just under 20 and they last me a whole month with 4 cats - you have 3 so will last you longer making it less than a fiver per week fo all cats.

It was on offer last month, 7kg free when you buy a 14kg bag so I stocked up.
The white one wasn't included though so I haven't tried that yet.0 -
Years ago I used a so-called flushable cat litter- came home one day to find my neighbours having to clear the drains out because they had blocked- embarrassing to say the least. The grey sludge that they were scooping out was undoubtably cat litter.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0
