Terms & Conditions of entry for Yale's serious tools competition Return to Competition Entry Page

1. I1. In order to take part in this competition you will need to 'Like' the Yale Trade UK page on Facebook, enter your name and email address in the entry form and supply your answer to the following question:

What is Yale best known for? a) Cars, b) Locks, c)Power tools
2. The competition will open on 4 April 2014 and run until 4 May 2014. Entries must be received by 4 May 2014. The three winners will be selected no later than 12.00pm, 4 May 2014 (UK Time)

3. Three winners will be selected and will each receive a Stanley tools box and Yale products worth £100 – A Yale Tshirt, A Digital Door Viewer, a padlock and a Yale mug.

4. If the advertisied prize is not available, Yale reserves the right to substitute for an alternative prize of equivalent value.

5. The winners will be contacted directly by email and be announced on the /YaleTradeUK Facebook Page.

6. The winners will be selected entirely at random from the entrants' details supplied. The decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

7. The chosen winners agree for their name and entry to be published on the /YaleUK Facebook Page, and any related marketing material to be published at a later date.

8. The chosen winners will have 48 hours from the time that email notification is sent in order to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, another winner will be chosen from remaining entries.

9. Yale UK may use entrants' data to provide entrants with information regarding further offers, promotions, or goods and services.

10. Yale UK reserves the right to verify, at any time during or after the closing of the promotion, the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
11. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, except for anyone directly connected with the planning or administration of the competition.


12. By taking part in the competition, entrants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them.

I'm thinking there are 2 different comps here.
The T&C's relate to a comp running from 04/04/ to 04/05, different question and different prize but seems to be no longer available.

This comp for £200 Next Home vouchers, a Yale alarm & a Yale home safe seems to have started from 01/05 and is possibly running until 30/05.
Post on Facebook on 01/05 says "Our May Day competition is now LIVE enter now to win £200 next home vouchers a Yale UK alarm and home safe" and on 02/05 they shared a link from The Prize Finder and their post HERE shows the end date as 30/05.

Tried to PM weeowens but box full.

EDIT Found the first comp on Yale Trade Facebook page HERE. Started on 04/04 and ended today. "CONGRATULATIONS to the three winners of our Stanley Tools competition: Dean Balderstone, Mick Carter and Daniel Goodwin"
