i got a ticket whilst parked on double yellow lines with a disabled badge displayed. when i returned i saw a ticket stating that i was parked whist restrictions were in place. but when i read the ticket the colour of the car stated it was a brown audi but my car is a silver audi I've been told this makes it invalid is this true.

No it doesn't make it invalid whether council or private, so please tell us who ticketed you, and if it's a company whether it's in England or Wales ?

Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
