Insured with Fish for the scooter and LV for the house. Who did you check and find it is covered, I would be really grateful for that bit of info.0

Ok I rang the house insurance again and they suggested that they do cover mobility scooters and wheel chairs on the Travel Insurance.
I rang the LV Travel Insurance team on 0800 022 3919 and they had never no been asked the question before but managed to find a bit hidden deep in the policy that means that they do cover for liability.

Go to the top of page 30 as printed on the document (not what Adobe tells you). It is Section F, What is Not Covered, point 5 a.
This is the wording. I have highlighted in bold the last part of the sentence in the hope that it easier for others who are in the same situation and struggling to find this cover.5. We won’t pay any compensation or other costs that arise because of accidents caused by:
a. motorised or mechanical vehicles and trailers attached to them, other than electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters being used on pedestrian routes
To all of you who have been trying to help me can I just say a big thank you as without going back to the house insurance again I would never have found their associated Travel Policy.0
