If you paid by debit card then the refund should have been paid to the card, not credited to the account, as the Very rep has explained. As this hasn't happened you need to contact Very and get that balance credited to your debit card/bank account.0

Initially yes, it was mistakenly paid via the Very account, but instantly realising my mistake I corrected it and paid the balance off with the card. This was done literally a minute later, and on 19th I received an email staying...
"Thank you for your payment of £605.95."
Thus, Very received my payment, and have not refunded it to the card as asked.0 -

My advice still stands though, you need to arrange the negative balance to be refunded to you your bank account0 -
I understand what you are saying. My only issue is, I paid the balance of the TV off instantly, and they accepted the payment straight away.
I asked for the refund on the card days after receiving the email saying the payment had been accepted.
On my Account Summary page it states :
Minimum payment of -£605.95 to reach us by 16/05/2014
Take 3 payment of -£605.95 to reach us by 16/05/2014
I find this troubling as they have already accepted this payment in full.
Can a Very Representative please clear up what is happening here?0 -
I don't think you do understand.
1, You paid for your TV by account.
2, You then paid of your balance then cancelled the order. (mistake no. 1)
3, The refund was processed and (correctly) applied to the account.
4, You now have a negative balance because YOU made the mistake of making an account payment rather than wait for the refund to take place.
5, You now need to get the neg. balance credited to your bank account.
It really is that simple and I can't see why feel hard done by.0 -

As clearly stated by the Very rep, all refunds are made against the payment manner it was charged, in your case on account.
Your problem here is you keep going on about a refunds when clearly a refund has been made. What you should be concentrating on is how you get the overpayment on your account credited back to you.0 -

No, you didn't pay for the TV. You credited the very account with the money afterwards in a separate transaction.0 -
You could close your Very account and ask them to send you the balance owing.0

Have to agree with others... Don't think very have done anything wrong here. You've been refunded already.
You now need to deal with resolving the balance of your credit account with them.
The fact you paid off the balance instantly doesn't change the fact two separate transactions have taken place0
