Can person see my icloud address if I've received a text via icloud? Really worried:(

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me. I gave my number to a guy who I'm worried about now. I received a text from him but it showed as his icloud address and his number didn't come up? When I'm replying back does it show my icloud address or my mobile number? Yes I know I gave him my mobile number but will my name appear up on his phone when I replied back to him?

My full name is my icloud address if that makes sense. I'm just confused as when I sign into icloud my email address in icloud is my full name? No I've nothing to hide but I found things out about him which I don't like now and I didn't want him finding out too much about me if this makes sense! I do have his mobile number but when he texts it shows as his icloud address?

Really worried here just strange when he texts it shows his icloud address as opposed to his mobile number and I'm worried if it shows my icloud email address as its my full name. Would it show my icloud email address when I text back or how could I find out what it shows???

Its likely that he's sent you a message from the imessage app... I use it to send messages for free to a fee people I know have iPhones... Replying will only show your number

I already have J B. Was just worried that it showed my icloud address when I did!

If you have your email address set as your id (start new conversations from in settings menu) then you will show this to anyone you start a conversation with
