    Hi ey143,

    You must be able to do it cheaper, if you supply and just pay to have everything fitted?

    AND I'm sure if you are getting more then one fitted they may give a discount as they (the fitters) will be there already?

    Thanks. The concept of a wet room - it's not quite like a steam room right so the tanking or waterproofing is not to all walls but the floor of the drain area and possible the surrounding walls of immediate floor area?

    We tend to do the full enclosure and surround walls. Full height in wet area, dropping down to 1m outside . Tape all floor edges/joints

    We also ensure that the tray former is 110% rigid , supported on all edges and underside if needed then put a small about of slope on the plywood etc on the floor outside area

    Most of our wetrooms cost 6k+ for a full strip , mid range bathroom gear and rectified porc tiles

    Why on earth would you have skirting in a wet room?

    You wouldn't but it could easily mean a vinyl skirting ie rolled up walls 125mm with formers
