Where Do You Buy Your Bubble Wrap?

Hi
I'm desperately trying to de-clutter years of various items from our loft/garage, I have a good source of strong black packing but could do with some bubble wrap which I could use instead of jiffy bags.

It is so expensive in the Post Office - where do you buy yours?

Poundshops have rolls for £1. Not sure how big the roll is as I have never bought from there.

If you need a lot, check your local yellow pages for a packaging supplier

That works out expensive if you use lots.

I buy mine from eBay, different sellers though as they all change their prices depending on stock and I work out what is cheapest at the time based on width and length. for less than £20 delivered you can buy a very chunky large roll or 2 smaller ones.

I did buy from a local wholesaler once as I ran out and was desperate, but paid about an additional 50% over the eBay price. However, I understand in some areas buying from local warehouses on industrial estates can be cheap.

There is bubble wrap and there is bubble wrap. Some of the cheaper kind you need several layers and it's still rubbish.

    Try http://www.odlpackaging.co.uk/
They also have an Ebay shop. If you buy from them it comes Next Day Delivery for free. It also comes by DPD who tell you to the hour when it will be delivered and even lets you track the courier with how long till they get there, where they are and how many parcels they have till they deliver to you.

Plus if you register you get code for 5% discount if you buy direct. They do 100m for £10 before discount.

Must admit I've had a couple of things delivered by DPD recently and was very impressed by their tracking and time keeping. Think they're business orientated though which is a pity

Just paid £21 + vat for 2 x 600 x 50 large bubble, and collected from my local supplier. Not sure how this compares with EBay ?

@Mandy, you can use their sister company, who do exactly the same things, called Interlink, as a joe average person.

Back to the main question, I tend to use All-pack solutions. They have a shop on eBay, and although they aren't cheap, they certainly tick the quality box.

Thanks , I'll check them out , they did seem efficient compared to a few other couriers.
