    Ike@ was typically horrible. New bed frame + wardrobe + chest of drawers is looking like it will cost c. £1,000 :eek:

    DD was gifted a large cuddly German shepherd, she is such a spoiled only child, but she is happy, affectionate and lovely :A

    Also - frabjous day! She said 'poo' for the first time in her beautiful little musical voice :rotfl:

    I used to think their first words were always Dada but my Son's was "Beer". He was sitting on the bar at the Hockey Club and he pointed and said beer, so it was in the knowledge that that was what it was. He then said virtually nothing else for about 9 months, and then started talking in funny little sentences

    OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
    I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

    DD is 16month old and is fully fluent with the dogs name and 'doggy' to every one she sees!

    Ah - dogs are 'uff uffs' in our house :D

    Think DD may have fully cut her last tooth, she slept through last night for the first time in months.

    £2 OPed, skip being collected, plasterer confirmed for the weekend and I'm going to start breaking down furniture this evening. No rest for the wicked!

    We loved drinkamelon for watermelon (as a drink and water were interchangeable. We still call in drinkamelon! Not a first word though, that was dada both times.

    How about a 'no use in having it' for an ice cream scoop as that's what I always used to say when ex used (and bent ��) a spoon every time. 30 years later it's still called that :rotfl:.
