Yeah, I try and pick one (or maybe two) targets for a given month. I find it easier to manage and with a limited focus I can be more creative in that sphere (just what can we have for dinner with rice, a lemon, and some mince?!). Plus it's easier to measure against a couple of targets.
Good luck with the frog boiling technique - we're doing that (very gradually) with grocery spends. Trying to reduce our budget by about £5 every month.0 -

I think on that day we did something along those lines. Not sure if we did meatballs or a more stew-y sort of thing with some chopped tomatoes...but we didn't go buy more groceries. :cool:0 -
