We went for the grown up choice of the 70s house in the super peaceful suburb. Not the prettiest house from the outside, but good proportions, good kitchen diner and living room and outdoor space + garage etc.0

I would be remiss in pointing out that the whole 'legal bit' is still to happen, we've just had the agreements between the various parties that signals the start of formalities. Still, very good0

Congrats Me E :T
IMO I don't think you should worry about the outside of the house not being the prettiest...mine isn't either and it used to bother me... until someone asked me how much time I spent looking at the outside? :rotfl: Realised that it's the inside, and what it means for living a life that works for me, that counts0 -

We had a family friend when I was growing up who was quite well off. The inside of this house was stunning, the outside not so much as he didn't live in an amazing area and it ensured that if there any chance burglars they went to better looking houses.
