Got two quotes one for boiler and another for bathroom from same company. I will create two seperate threads to keep the focus. Now this thread is quote about boiler and radiators:
1. To supply and install Worcester Bosh Greenstart 37 CDi + digistat controller. Around 2 foot extension pipe from the current position.
Remove existing boiler and tank. Powerflush and clean.
The above is quoted at GBP 3217.00 + VAT :eek:
2. 7 new radiators with new thermostatic control valves and balancing valves.
GBP 2616.00 + VAT
extra cost of tailored to bay radiators GBP 440.00 + VAT
My estimate was around 5K for boiler and new radiators but this seems too much for the job in hand. Any comments

On the face of it that seems a bit high. But, have you had other quotes?
Did you specify the boiler?
How big is the house and how many bath/shower rooms.?
If you get to the same position as jang316 then you will have a good indication as to the price.
