hi there id love a little advise on a small situation
my car needs a new clutch long story short i bought one to be fitted then was let down . so needed to return it
i did so within the 10days quoted on t+c s
7. Your right of cancellation
7.1 You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 10 days after you receive the goods
great i thought itll only cost me the return postage i thought .
from a £650 clutch i was refunded £507
once i saw this called then i was told is was because the box was damaged internally and therefore unavailable for resale .
my cc company (tesco) say there unable to help as i returned the item ( she mention section 27 i think ??) so i guess itll be down to my courier company . who im sure will say if its not marked as damaged upon being signed for theres sod all they can do
i know its a fairly small amount but im tight like that .
anything i could do or should i calk this one up to experience ?
thanks
