Conveyancer charging extra for HTB

Hello,
Looking for some advice - I received a quote for a conveyancer and under additional fees it says 'additional work on a purchase where the purchase is to be under the Help to Buy scheme'. This charge is £750 + VAT.
Has anyone else encountered such a charge? I am already paying £1100 for this solicitor.
I spoke to my broker who was very shocked by this and said she had never heard of such a charge.
Am I being mugged off?
