PCN from Meteor @ Southeastern station

Please help!! Very new to forums!!
Got a Meteor windscreen PCN at a southeastern station as I didn't buy a ticket, (thought wife was getting it). States I'm required to pay £90 reduced to £45 if paid within 14 days. If no payment is received with 28 days they will commence collection procedures etc etc. Appeals should be made within 28 days etc etc. Disputes referred to POPLA etc etc.
Does not say anything about bylaws or requiring the name of the driver.
I'm gutted as I always buy a ticket and the one day that I don't I get a PCN. I have read some of the advice on here but find it a little confusing. Should I ignore?? or if I should engage in communication what should I write and to whom??
HELP. Thank you.

The help is not confusing if you know where to look. This thread below is one of the sticky threads in the parking forum. Please read it thoroughly, and send an appeal to Meteor when you get the Notice to Keeper between days 29-56 after ticketing.

Just about the only time you appeal early is if the car is not yours. If this vehicle is registered in Scotland or NI, then you just ignore the whole thing.

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Thank you for your response. When the notice to keeper letter arrives I will send a reply. Would it be advisable to post my reply here first for some feedback??

There's no need, just use the stock reply in the thread I mentioned above , there is only one appeal letter in the thread.

Send the template appeal NOW instead of waiting, here's why:

Avoid that hassle, send the template appeal from the NEWBIE thread NOW even though this is just a mess - better to appeal early in this unusual case.

    A similar thread is here:

look at jkdd77's post # 34 there. Also anon45's post #3 here on pepipoo:

and finally look at Bazster's brilliant letter here, in case you do end up having to complain (if you don't see this reply soon and don't appeal early):
