Plusnet charge for 0845 calls

Options
Hi, I joined PlusNet recently. Just received my first bill, I was terribly surprised to be billed £39,80 exclusively for making 0845 calls. When I phoned them and explained I m on plusnet anytime plan which should include 0845 numbers, they said but there are exceptions. When I asked what are that exceptions and why I have not been informed when I made my contract over the phone, they said they are on the website and you need to look for them ! It took my a deep search on their website to get to that piece of information which clarify this exceptions (calling cards and indirect access numbers).

Am I right to argue I have not been told anything about this when I accepted my contract? and that they do not even appear clearly on their main page which explain their packages. Please advice and beware.

It took me 20 seconds to see the 0845 numbers are only at week ends, it's on the first description, not their problem.

    Non-geographical numbers (0845 & 0870)

    Inclusive at all times
(Calling cards, indirect access and dial-up Internet numbers are excluded)

I can understand calling cards and dial-up internet ... what are indirect access numbers?

I assume indirect numbers are those numbers you call and are then redirected, usually to overseas numbers

At one time, BT described them as:
An indirect access number is any number which connects you to another number that is both known by and could be directly dialled by you from your BT landline. The indirect access number charges a cheaper rate. There are typically two types of these calls.
You first dial an 0870 or 0845 number, and then, while still connected, you dial the intended destination number to be connected
You are connected directly to the intended destination number by dialling an 0870 or 0845 number, having previously routed the destination number through an 0870 or 0845 number, which can be done via the internet or by other means
So something like the 084x numbers that allow you to phone Australia for 0.5p per minute is one example.
