That is fab I will give them a call. He didn't get on with dry food diet as a puppy. He was too hyperactive (to the point that he got kicked out of puppy class "Marley & Me" style lol) so always nervous of changing as he has just started calming down a bit. Will def have a chat though xx

    Hiya,

Been on my 2nd springer I know hyperactive:rotfl:Thats why I feed the wheat free with no additives (we have Complete Tripe but the lamb with rice is good for her too) etc as they advised. Could have just been what was in the dry food, but tell them this & i'm sure they will advise you. It might not suit him but worth a try.

    All the best

Not a lot to add to the SOA but with regards to your pup, maybe one of the neighbours would help out on the day instead?

My neighbours working hours have changed which means their dog would be home alone for 12 hours on 2 days a week. As I work from home, he now comes and stays with me for those 2 days (free of charge as that's what neighbours do and I love dogs). He has company and I have company :D Maybe there is one of your neighbour who would do the same for you?

If things are that tight maybe you can't afford to have a dog and a cat?!

    Hi,

    CSA..................................... 200

any chance you can reduce this ? is this an agreement you have to pay the CSA ?
I cant see anywhere else that you can make realistic cuts ?

DancerSupreme - your budget is very much like mine having no 'wiggle room'! I can only suggest trying to shave £5pw off your food spends to make a little change that you shouldn't notice too much and definitely investigate cutting your pet food costs - my cat will only eat Iams or aldi cat food, she can't tell the difference ... guess which she gets ;) My dog does have a sensitive tum but she's only a tiddly Jack Russell so doesn't eat that much! x

Well done for keeping the dog walker and ignoring the ill-judged comments suggesting it "needs to go". The dog is part of your family not an unfeeling utility bill. Good luck x
