Freeview to portable dvd

Please help,will a freeview box plugged into a portable dvd player become a tv set.If so how do you do it.Many thanks in advance for helping save my marriage.

Only if the portable DVD player has video in. Connectivity depends on what sockets are on the portable DVD player but if you go to any TV/Audio specialists with the DVD player and tell them what you're wanting to do and you'll be connecting to the freeview box with SCART, they'll sort out a set of leads.0

A Freeview box will have video and sound output (A/V) via the scart plug.
If the dvd player has audio/visual input sockets ( usually composite video) then it should work.
You will need a scart adapter lead. (to whatever the type of A/V sockets are on the dvd).
And a mains supply for the Freeview boxac's lovechild0 -
