Another credit card

Hello,
I have one credit card I recently got to transfer around 1000£ from another card which I've now closed.
HMRC was owed some back taxes and they finally got round to chasing me up and forced me to pay those off. I added this to the card.
So aside from that I have a current account that has a 2000£ overdraft which I'm paying silly amounts of interest so I was thinking of taking out another credit card to move this overdraft debt to that.
I was given a 4500£ limit from tesco who I just got the credit card from, thats almost used up, should I ask for more to transfer the 2000£ overdraft debt or just apply for a new one.
I have good credit history.

An immediate 50% limit increase on a newly acquired card is very unlikely.0

MBNA does money transfers. They'll dump the cash into your account, so you're overdraft will be paid and shift the balance on to the card. I think I've seen them advertise their 18 month one, but you may get more or less depending on your circumstances, credit history, ect.0
