PCN from 2012

Eazy
Hi All,
I'm looking for some advice regarding a PNC I received back in early 2012. From looking through the forums I think the advice is still to ignore any that were from prior to Oct 2012 (which is the case here)
I've always just ignored any letters I've had regarding the 'offence' which were originally from VNC and then a couple of solicitors (I forget the names now as I binned the letters). The advice at that time was always to ignore.
I've not heard anything for over a year until the past few weeks, and now have had a couple of letters from Newlyn, the last of which is threatening to court action.
Would the advice be to continue to ignore these letters? I assumed they would have given up by now. No such luck I guess.
Thanks in advance for the advice!

tell Newlyn to refer it back to the PPC debt denied, the PPC can only take you to court IF you admit you were driving (pre freedom act)0

Thanks. Do I then need to contact the PPC or is the reply to Newlyn sufficient?0

the PPC can only take the driver to court, so if they dont know who it was and you dont tell them , .............. !!!!!
you can either ignore the DC or tell them to do one , all explained fully in the debt collector post in the NEWBIES sticky thread0 -
You may get less hassle by contacting neither .
If they issue court claim, defend in full.Be happy...;)0 -
Use the 'search this forum' heading next to 'forum tools' on page one of this parking board (just above the sticky threads for newbies to read first) for 'Newlyn 2012' as keywords (and change the default to 'show posts') to read about the last batch of these scraping the barrel letters, last month. We had half a dozen threads worth you reading.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Also had this letter. Sent reply denying debt and to telling to refer back to vcs.
A complaint letter is ready to send to bpa, dvla and vcs if and when I get any more hassle.
Please let us know what you do.0
