very upsetting article warning - happy (??) ending but still

how on earth could that happen and why nobody working there reported this straight away?

and what kind of people leave a 5 yo dog to be put to sleep alone anyway?

there seem to be more to this story....unspoken - poor dog...

    Not everyone has the coping mechanism to deal with seeing their beloved animal being PTS, it doesn't make them a bad person.

    Thankfully the dog is free now and hopefully suffers no more ill effects.
