Have you tried other browsers?

Never had an issue, i'd agree it's probably the browser you're using.
If it helps, I use Google Chrome and never have a problem.

I get an error message in IE but works in Chrome

I always get that error message (in IE) for Daily telegraph comps too

Me too. If the submit button's above the captcha I don't bother entering because I know I'll get the error message.

Some of the Telegraph comps don't show correctly in IE, as soon as I see the captcha below the enter button i go to another browser to enter the comp.
