Before you do anything else and waste any time check that the Studio has all the correct permissions and the title deeds with Land Registry plans match up
There are a lot of people who have carved properties up then sell them to cash buyers by the time they unravel everything it is too late and they are left holding the baby

No, I didn't really think to to be honest. This is my first time looking to buy and its all completely new to me. I guess it explains him being so slow to reply to certain questions and the way the way part of the price offering went. I'm surprised they are advertising at such an increased price though.
you might want to insist they remove it or walk away. In this market even cash buyers are likely to be gazumped so unless you want to lose legal/survey fees I would demand it.0 -
Cheers for the replies everyone. After thinking about it over the weekend I am siding with the idea of withdrawing my offer, and using the money to fund a larger place later down the line when I can get a mortgage.0
