EE phone contract

Just recently after upgrading to an iphone 5c my mobile provider changed from T mobile to EE. The phone line is shocking constantly dropping calls, the person on the other end is deafened with static. I have reported the problem and have been talked through trouble shooting the problem with a promise of a call back to check the problem has been resolved. Nothing, I've even emailed the chief executive officer for customer service nothing. No call escapes the interference making it impossible to have a proper phone call. Ideally I would like to cancel my contract which I tried to do within 14 days of receiving the phone. I cannot believe the lack of customer care from a major company like EE.

I know just what you mean - I struggle to believe some things too0 -

You'd probably be better posting this on the mobile phone board at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14 rather than this credit card one, but does your contract have a 14-day cooling-off period or not, i.e. do you have the right to cancel in that window?
I don't know if EE are typical or not but complaining on companies' Facebook or Twitter pages sometimes seems to deliver better and/or faster results, presumably because they're more visible to other customers....0 -
I've had problems with EE - promising one "deal" on the phone and then being invoiced later for more than what was agreed. On disputing it, "supervisors" swear blind I was told something I wasn't or that I misunderstood. I won't now enter into a verbal contract with EE (or their ilk) anymore.
OK nothing to do with the OP, but it made me feel better!0
