Hi!
Recently I applied for two more cards, so before I had the following cards:
Capital One Classic Extra, with a £500 limit (This was before the whole no foreign conversion fee thing)
Nationwide Select, with a £2000 limit
Cap1 classic extra, give 0.5% and £10/year for being up to date
Nationwide select give perfect foreign transaction fees, and 0.5% on all GBP purchases. I do however have a Norwich & Peterborough debit card, to use abroad as well
I've recently applied for two cards:
Capital One Classic Extra and
Asda Money
For cap1, I get a £1500 limit, as well as the above things I've mentioned
For Asda money, I get a £1000 limit (not received just yet), with 1% cashback at Asda, and 0.5% every where else
I would have got a Santander 123 card, but I just don't spend enough, to make that card worth the expense
Basically:
Cap 1 classic extra
Limit: £500
Perks: 0.5% GBP cashback, £10/year given for good account keeping
Nationwide select
Limit: £2000
Perks: 0.5% GBP cashback, perfect foreign exchange fees - though I also have an N&P account for that
Cap1 classic extra
Limit: £1500
Perks: 0.5% GBP cashback, £10/year given for good account keeping, perfect foreign exchange fees
Asda money
Limit: £1000
Perks: 1% cashback at Asda, 0.5% cashback everywhere else
The old cap1 classic extra is probably the oldest credit card I have on file as well
