Off to the grand theatre in Blackpool to see a show, so going to make a weekend of it, can anyone recommend a nice cheap hotel nearby please? Also is there anywhere for a nice meal we can go to beforehand?
Also where would you recommend to go for a drink on a sat night? Don't want a clubbing night but want somewhere with a nice atmosphere, maybe a cocktail bar?
Any info would be great
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Can you recommend somewhere to go for a few drinks on a Saturday night?0

Check the room rates at The Imperial and Village Hotel (a little further out) as your benchmark for the date you want. I tend to not stay too late in Blackpool so not sure of decent bars.0

There's a chinese restaurant (Mayflower I think it's called) opposite the North pier that we always go to when we're in Blackpool. Sapori italian on Clifton St (a few streets away from theatre) is nice too.
A lot of guest houses are hit and miss in Blackpool. You're probably best to search online for a few in your price range and than look at trip advisor for reviews.0
