Hmmm is the mapei mapeker at wickes and b&q different from the mapei mapeker from a trade shop

As a private customer where is the best place to buy the trade adhesive - tops tiles or somewhere like that ?

    Thanks

I called my local tile depot and they also mentioned mapei ultraflex

Which one would be better ultraflex or keraquick plus latex plus ?

    CTD TILES!!!!!

No modified polymer adhesive with a S2 rating will ever be as good as a proper latex mixed adhesive such as the Keraquick with latex

Wh don't you employ a trades to do it???

I have decided to put the ply down as suggested and use the latex plus with keraquick - please can you confirm what I need to treat the ply with before laying the tiles

I have a professional to lay the tiles but want to make sure I ensure he applies the correct stuff before starting with the adhesive as different people have very different ways of working from what I can see

Prime only the back and sides of the plywood, not the face

Ok great so I should use the primer g mapei for the sides and back and then the keraquick just goes straight on to the top of the plywood with the latex mix
