We’ve teamed up with TV chef Dean Edwards and leading supermarket Asda, to launch a nationwide search for the best biscuit recipe in Britain.
The Big Baking Bonanza is open to amateur bakers and the winning recipe will be created by the skilled team at Border Biscuits and turned into a limited edition new product, which will go on sale in Asda. The winner will also get £2,000 and a place on a baking course.
Masterchef finalist and resident chef on ITVs Lorraine, Dean Edwards said: “Home baking is so popular at the moment and people love to experiment in the kitchen with different ingredients and flavours. We’re looking for an outstanding biscuit recipe to join the Border Biscuits range; something completely unique and totally delicious. If you love to bake this could be the perfect competition for you to show off your skills.”
Budding bakers can enter the Big Baking Bonanza by submitting their recipe online at www.borderbiscuits.co.uk/baking from today until 8th June 2014. The entries will be whittled down by Dean Edwards and an expert judging panel including: Susanna Lloyd, Asda Regional Buyer Scotland and Northern Ireland, Lisa Prudhoe, Asda Customer Planner and the Border Biscuits baking team.
Have you got the winning recipe? Good luck and happy baking!

Please ensure that your recipe is your own original work, last year some were disqualified as they stole pictures & recipes from other people's websites. I was shortlisted last year so aiming to go one better this year
