Hi,
7 weeks ago I signed and returned my complaint form to the ombudsman services for energy. I had previously sent all evidence of my complaint about my energy supplier and they agreed to investigate my complaint.
I phoned on week 5 for an update was told my case hadn't moved to the next stage yet, but she would email her manager and get it moved that afternoon and should hear back shortly.
I've just realised since then I've still not heard anything, but unfortunately it's too late to phone now so will have to wait till the morning.
So this gives me the opportunity to try and research if the ombudsman themselves have failed on their objectives as I'm sure somewhere they must have a schedule or something that they have to work to? Could I make a complaint about the ombudsman for not dealing with my complaint about my energy supplier?? lol
Any advice most welcome, thanks

good luck, its due to the huge amount of we will complain even when we know we dont have a case brigade to blame.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

No the ombudsman haven't failed in their obligations. It just takes time.
Nothing to complain about. Keep in touch with the ombudsman. They will eventually propose a resolution that you are not obliged to accept, but if you do it will be binding on the supplier0 -
Yes you can complain about Ombudsmen.
Whether it does any good in practice however is another matter. If you're only complaint is as above don't waste your time & energy. These people never move quickly & the above is pretty standard really!0
