Can anyone out there offer some advice please. We took out a £25,000 loan with GE Money in 2004 and paid £3,750 PPI. The loan was paid back in full early. My husband was self employed and I was on a career break. We asked about getting this back but were told we never took out PPI.
I have just come across the original paperwork which clearly states that we had PPI, and I even have the remittance advice.

Do you have proof of payment , direct debit etc.
If so ask them to look into it further.
Some people have tried to claim with loan projection paperwork and not the actual agreement as a change of mind on PPI may alter the payment level .
If you have the agreement and proof of payment with a good complaint reason they should look at the case again.Light travels faster than sound.
This is why some people seem as bright until you hear them.0 -
Not sure that I do, although I do have the original credit agreement and the remittance advice that the cheque was attached to. I will try again though. Thank you.0
